Come detto ieri, su Pitchfork è possibile creare la propria lista dei migliori album dal 1996 al 2011. Da un minimo di 20 a un massimo di 100, gli album più "scelti" verranno poi raccolti in una classifica che verrà pubblicata tra il 22 e il 24 di agosto. E' possibile compilare e modificare la propria lista entro il 17 agosto.
La mia lista? Principalmente mi sono basato sui miei album preferiti, su quelli che hanno avuto una rilevanza storica per la musica e su quelli che hanno avuto una rilevanza per me (vedi American Idiot dei Green Day, il primo album rock che ho adorato). La prima scelta è andata ad Ok Computer dei Radiohead che, a mio modestissimo parere, è l'album migliore di tutti i tempi. Gli altri sono in ordine sparso.
